♥ TaKari ♥
Takari is a fan-created term which refers to the relationship of Takaishi Takeru (TK) and Yagami Hikari (Kari Kamiya), two characters from Digimon.
During the run of the second season of Digimon, in which Takeru and Hikari were main characters, this pairing was very popular, as popular as Taiora.
Evidence from Digimon Adventure
Episode 38: ProphecyIn the original version of this episode, they complete each other's sentences in various occasions.
Episode 48: My Sister's Keeper
As Tai and Izzy are talking, Sora and T.K are watching over the sick Kari. T.K is shown with teary eyes and a way sad look while seeing how bad his friend feels. As this image is shown, Tai comments T.K is the same age as Kari. This comment is pointless unless it is a suggestion of Takari.
Tai thus trusts T.K. to take care of Kari.
Episode 49: The Crest of Light
T.K. is intrigued by Kari's light and tries to protect her.
Episode 50: Joe's Battle
In the beginning of the episodes, before the opening credits, T.K. gives a brief description of what has happened in the past few episodes. At the end of this, he says, "I'm sure glad Kari's okay now." (Dub insert)
T.K also helps Kari making the memorial for the many Numemon destroyed during the episode that she wanted, and prays for their souls along with her.
Episode 52: Piedmon's Last Jest
Sora, the last remaining "older" Digidestined, asks T.K. to protect Kari, and he again accepts. While they are climbing up the rope to escape from Piedmon, T.K. also decides that he doesn't want Kari to see him scared, and wants to look brave in front of her. When T.K. gets caught by Piedmon on the leg, Kari grabs hold on his wrist. Although he tells her to let go, Kari refuses, saying that she won't let Piedmon get him like the others. Piedmon responds by saying that they are "falling" for each other (dub insert), thus cutting the rope and causing them to fall.
Evidence from Digimon Adventure 02
When T.K. walks into Odaiba Elementary and sees Kari again for the first time in a while, they immediately strike up conversation without awkwardness or uncomfortableness. The original dialogue even has them say "It's been a long time," and "You've gotten taller."
Episode 03: A New Digitude
When the Digimon Emperor appears T.K. stands in front of Kari with his arm out a little. Then when the Digimon Emperor reappears with Tyrannomon T.K. has his arm out in front of Kari, protecting her.
After the kids get home Davis says he's mad at the Digimon Emperor and Kari turns to T.K. and asks him if he's going to defeat the Digimon Emperor. (Dub insert)
Episode 07: Guardian Angel
After the team accidentally left Kari behind, Davis immediately yells at T.K. However, instead of providing the same "crush" response as Davis exhibits, T.K. admits that it is his fault and resolves to save her, together with Davis, provoking implications of a deeper closeness.
Episode 13: His Master's Voice
Throughout the episode, T.K. displays an increasing worry for Kari. In the middle of class, he jumps out of his seat and shouts her name. T.K. is also the first to think that there might be something wrong. After class, T.K. searches all over for Kari, even looking in the girl's washroom. T.K. blames himself for Kari's disappearance.
When Kari is trapped in the Dark Ocean, she calls out for Tai, Gatomon, and T.K. to save her, notably the people she is closest to.
In the English dub of His Master's Voice, T.K. responds to Kari's worries about the Dark Ocean with "Look Kari, I care too much about you to let anyone take you without a fight!" and after he says this there is an awkward moment between the two as T.K. rushes off to class. At the end of the English version of the episode, Kari asks T.K. if he meant what he said earlier, and responds that she cares about him too.
In the Japanese version of this episode, T.K. is instead angry at her for being too dependent on Tai, and few Takari hints are given at all.
Episode 31: Opposites Attract
Near the end of the episode when the others finally meet back up to Kari, Yolei, and Ken, T.K. turns to Kari and says "I thought I really lost you this time; I was afraid you had slipped into the other world for good." (English Dub)
Episode 48: Oikawa's Shame
When Kari's morale drops as the children are watching the Dark Spore children gather, she turns to T.K. for comfort, which he gives her. He reminds her to do her best, and instills some optimism back in her.♥ TaKari ♥

Digital Monsters(Digimon)
Digimon (デジモン, Dejimon?), short for "Digital Monsters" (デジタルモンスター, dejitaru monsutā?), is a popular Japanese series of media and merchandise, including anime, manga, toys, video games, trading card games and other media. Digimon are monsters of various forms living in a "Digital World", a parallel universe that originated from Earth's various communication networks.
Digimon hatch from eggs called Digi-Eggs/Digitama. In the English iterations of the franchise there is another type of Digi-Egg that can be used to digivolve, or transform, Digimon. This second type of Digi-Egg is called a "Digimental" in Japanese. They age via a process called "Digivolution" which changes their appearance and increases their powers. The effect of Digivolution, however, is not permanent in the partner Digimon of the main characters in the anime, and Digimon who have digivolved will most of the time revert back to their previous form after a battle or if they are too weak to continue. Some Digimon act feral. Most, however, possess large amounts of intelligence and human speech. They are able to digivolve by the use of Digivices that their human partners have. In some cases, as in the first season, the DigiDestined (known as the 'Chosen Children' in the original Japanese) had to find some special items such as crests and tags so the Digimon could digivolve in another further stages of evolution known as Ultimate and Mega in the dub.
The first Digimon anime introduces the Digimon life cycle: They age in a similar fashion to real organisms, but do not die under normal circumstances because they are made of reconfigurable data. Any Digimon that receives a fatal wound will dissolve into infinitesimal bits of data. The data then recomposes itself as a Digi-Egg, which will hatch when rubbed gently, and the Digimon goes through its life cycle again. Digimon who are reincarnated in this way will sometimes retain some or all their memories of their previous life. However, if a Digimon's data is completely destroyed, they will die.
